Despite having a large dressing area, accesses will be allowed only to the dancers in order of category and style that immediately after performing on stage will be accompanied by the chief of the group strait to the auditorium so they can enjoy the rest of the show (if there will be free seats available). However, all the dancers are invited to leave the changing rooms promptly and progressively immediately after having performed their performance to encourage the preparation and warming up of the colleagues in the lineup.

It will be the responsibility of the director of each school to be present, or to entrust a person of his trust, next to the audio technicians for any need for stop and play music or placement outputs before the start of the music as the technicians will not accept  assignments neither verbal or written on behalf of third parties. Unlike in case no one was present to direct in directing, it will be implicitly understood that the music will start immediately after the presentation of the voiceover without further waiting.  Each school will have to provide itself with a necessary period of checking the stage and its important to avoid crowding the state too much time before the performances.

There will not be our agents who will come to look for or call schools in the dressing rooms. If it is not present, it will proceed with the next school and will automatically be excluded from the competition. Same for soloists and couples.

Only the presence of the coreografo or the school director will e excepted behind the curtains who will be requested to wait at the stage exit, regardless of the presence of other exhibitions of his students in the contest. It will be allowed to stay only if there will be two or more students exhibiting in a row. If this rule will not be respected  the participation at the contest will be denied.

We remind you that the entrance to the stage is on the right side and the exit is on the left side (having the stage in front of you). Any movement not correspondent to this rule will be persecuted by our stuff.

We ask you to respect the maximum silence behind the curtains and outside the doors of entrance to the stage. After the third notice of   the lack of respect our stuff will have to exclude the disturbers from the contest. The respect for colleagues and neighbours goes before everything else!

ENTRANCE TICKETS:

Admission for viewing both shows is ABSOLUTELY FREE until all the sits are taken. After the auditorium is completely full, the firemen will inhibit further entry to both parents and relatives or relatives. Therefore we ask you to remind to your guests to reach the theater on time

VOTES AND AWARDS:

The thing that we would like to underline specifically is that if only one or two candidates are to be present in one category, the award of the eventual prize will still follow the expected criteria, therefore the ascent to the podium is not to be considered discounted for any lack of challengers.

The judgment will be based on individual votes divided as follows:

  • Soloists and couples: Technique, musicality and interpretation.
  • Groups: Technique, interpretation and synchronous ability.

Each category and style will be awarded, at the discretion of the jury, with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and all will compete for the achievement of prestigious scholarships. All prizes to be won will be published and updated by category on our official Rome Dance Contest and Forballet.it website and on Instagram (forballet.it)

Since the scholarships are particularly prestigious, expensive and in some cases unique, the winners must conferm their intention to participate by the date established by the juror who will award the prize. The jury will draw a ranking of 3 positions of preference for the attribution of the same, so if on schedule, the first candidates will not benefit from the scholarship that will be awarded to him, the management of forballet.itwill contact the second on the list , thus declining the benefit achieved by the first winners without the possibility of recovering it.

PRIZE OF CRITICS AND AUTHOR CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD for the BALLET, MODERN and CONTEMPORARY issued by the President of the jury Mrs Francesca Bernabini

CALCULATION CRITERIA FOR FINAL VOTES AND AWARDS:

The votes will be expressed from 5 to 10 with the possibility of half votes. The evaluation parameters are established as follows: total vote of less than 5 NON-CLASSIFIED, total score of 5.01 and 6 THIRD CLASSIFIED rating from 6.01 to 7 SECOND CLASSIFIED and vote from 7.01 to 10 FIRST CLASSIFIED. When more than a score higher than 7.01 should occur, the rankings will be awarded starting from the highest grade to decrease (from 1st place to decrease), for example if the following scores should occur: 9.01 – 8.75 – 7.57 – 7.03 will be awarded:

  • The first prize 9.01
  • The second  8.75 prize
  • The third prize 7.57

A single prize will be awarded for each ranking assignment unless it is an ex-aequo with the exact same score. The judgment will be final and unappealable. The organization and the jury do not accept the invitation of third parties “to the attention”. For a speech of transparency that distinguishes our work from others ALL THE RESULTS WILL BE EXHIBITED IN THE FOYER OF THE THEATER IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE END OF EVERY SINGLE STYLE.
